  • No, tank samples are not accepted.

  • Stickers are R0.50 excluding vat per sticker and orders can only be accepted in multiples of 1000.

  • Yes, please paste a handwritten / typed label on the samples, to include farm name, name of wine, alcohol percentage and vintage. The unlabelled samples should match the wine certification provided.

  • The reasoning around the statement “to be the largest listing of blind tasted wines in SA” … is based on current competitions in SA that blind taste all the submissions and the entry fee for those competitions. Most cost over R1500 per submission and get 600 – 1000 submissions. Considering the entry fee for the Fine Wine Awards (just R99 per wine) and the extensive invite list we have to the producers. We are confident we can change the statement from “Set to be” to “Is the” … but we will definitely report back on this as we near the submission deadline.

  • There will be marketing opportunities direct to American Express cardholders, for direct sales, tastings and American Express Events too. A Fine Wine Awards Report will be compiled by Malu. This is over and above the stickers on the bottles of wines scoring above 86 and press releases to 15 targeted media platforms.
